the vision behind mane loft
Nicky, who did her fair share of working @knot_and_mane, has been a stylist in the industry for 17 years. After spending a decade in commission salons filled with drama, blurred boundaries, and burnout, she knew something had to change. The toll on her mental and physical health pushed her to leave the old school salon world and go independent.
As her client list grew, she realized that simply sending overflow to neighboring stylists—without shared values—wasn’t serving her clients or her brand. That’s when she decided to rebrand and build something with intention.
Mane Loft Salon was born from that vision: a no-drama, ethics-driven, shared space where stylists can thrive creatively, financially, and emotionally. As a stylist, mentor, and owner, Nicky leads by example—helping others set boundaries, prioritize their mental health, and step into their full potential.
