meet our founder nicky

@knot_and_mane did her fair share of working within many toxic commission salons for 10 years: zero boundaries, salon drama, feeling overworked, and underpaid. It was taking a heavy toll on both her mental and physical health.

She knew the next step was to become independent, but worried about the many roles and work this would entail. She wanted to make sure that not only her profits would increase, but most importantly, her mental health and work-life would be balanced.

Nicky created the Mane Loft Salon to be that perfectly balanced space. The Mane Loft concept and culture truly creates a way for the stylist to increase their profits, while gaining control of their freedom. She makes it her mission to help stylists create boundaries and prioritize their mental health.

She works within Mane Loft Salon as a stylist, mentor, and owner. The culture she has created has the stylists eager to come to work knowing they are capable of anything they put their mind to.

We have a fully stocked color room that ensures our stylists have the best tools with multiple product lines. All of the natural lighting provides an ideal environment for our stylists to create magic!

Our 15 stations on the floor and several private suits to rent all have natural lighting and good vibes. Each station has storage, mirror, trays, and space to make it home. We also offer luxury products for our stylists and clients.

Mane Loft Salon’s community center offers snacks, drinks, and opportunities to chat with others in-between appointments. Whether it’s sharing tools of knowledge, mentorship, or people watching - we got you covered!
